For anyone in the Rhode Island area, you are invited to join me and several good friends for the opening and awards reception of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society exhibition “Falling Into Winter”, this Saturday, 11/18/23, 1pm, at the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, Slater Memorial Park, 831 Armistice Blvd, Pawtucket, RI 02861.

I am very grateful to my friends in Rhode Island for hosting me and making this trip to the opening possible, and to the RIWS and the juror Jonathan McPhillips for awarding my painting “Plein Air, My View in the Snow, 12.20.22; 2.22.23, 8-9-am”, first place.  This is the second first place award I’ve received from RIWS, and the fourth or fifth juried show, but I have never been to their brick and mortar location before, and I am very much looking forward to the opening.
