Dear Art Lover,

As the cherry blossoms continue to fall and are replaced by new growth on the trees on the UW quad, I am still working on one final painting featuring the blossoms in bloom.  Before the rain drove me off, I had about an hour yesterday to continue to work on this 30 x 42” piece.  The energy on the quad is quite different from a week ago, much calmer, much more peaceful.  A few students and passersby stopped to observe and chat, which I always enjoy.  I look forward to finishing this piece soon, the 7th of the cherry blossom paintings from this year.  Three are so far sold, one is off to a Rhode Island Watercolor Society show soon, two are currently available.
