Update: June 28, 2024, Friday

Fellow Art Travelers,

I am writing to you from Philadelphia, PA, staging here with dear good friends before beginning Plein Air Easton, in Easton, MD, in just two weeks’ time.

These are important updates - so please follow along!  I promise to include new artwork, too, so if you’re not keen to read, enjoy the pictures.

First, I have listed some new work on my site, sketches and a small painting from the last few weeks, and priced them very affordably, $200 for sketches.

Speaking of pricing - a pricing standardization across all the work currently available on my website is imminent!  This is necessitated by my participation in Plein Air Easton, during which I will be exhibiting work made on-site as well as work made in Seattle.  You have been warned!  If you have your eye on a particular piece, I would recommend committing one way or the other by the end of day, today.  I am about to change my pricing to reflect the pricing that will be available to the plein air art-buying crowd at Easton, and the previous pricing model will not be the same (as I will have to include the cost of framing and Easton’s commission percentage) until this fall at the very earliest, if ever.  Again, to emphasize, if you are interested in a current work on my site, I am about to change the pricing (potentially) by today or this coming Monday at the very latest, so please, do not be surprised or caught off-guard if the piece you were interested in changes price.  It is not me attempting to squeeze my clients - it is an absolute professional necessity, and I have put it off for as long as I possibly can.  All work bought between now and August will ship or be available for pickup in late August, early September.

A good time, with this in mind, to plug once more my series of Art Questions, and to say thank you so much to everyone who has filled them out so far, and received the discount, good until the end of June.  I will be taking the questions down soon, so if you have not already, consider setting aside a few minutes of your time to let me know what you enjoy about art.

Lastly (before pictures) - many of you have asked about saving the dates for upcoming shows - here are those dates!  I will be showing (solo shows):

September 19-23

October 28-November 4

January 18-March 21

with exact opening night events pending.  The details of these shows (all in Seattle!) Will be offered once we get closer to the exact dates.
