2.23.24 Friday - Accepted into ArtX Flagstaff - this May!

Yesterday I shared that I’ve been invited to “Plein Air Easton”, the “…largest and most prestigious juried plein air painting competition in the United States.” (From their website).  More info on that here:  https://pleinaireaston.com/

Today I’d like to share another bit of good news - that I’ve been accepted into “ArtX Flagstaff” in its inaugural year, to paint and draw in the city of Flagstaff AZ in May.  This acceptance is the first Artist Opportunity (Residency, Grant, what have you) that I’ve been accepted to.  I look forward to making the trip to Arizona for most of the month of May.  I’ve known about this for months now, and was waiting to share the news… that day is today.
