I’ve just added some recent drawings to the available works page, made at the grace of Gage Academy still providing Open Studios, where artists can drop in on a group posed nude model session and draw or paint from life.  All five works are charcoal on paper, 18 x 24”.

Upcoming shows and exhibitions: 

I have two openings the same day, Saturday, December 3rd.  I will be only able to attend one of them in person.  First, I have five works entered in the Gage Small Works Holiday Show, coincident with their longstanding Drawing Jam event.  I highly recommend you attend!  It’s a full day of drawing, art making, and lots of great work by Gage community members, instructors and students.  More details here.

I will, on the same day, be manning my booth at the Mt. Baker Arts Fair at the Mt. Baker Community Center.  I’ll have original work for sale, most of it landscape plein air watercolor featuring the Mt Baker neighborhood (my neighborhood for the past year and change).  If you are keen on any of the work I’ve made featuring Mt. Rainier, my view from South Hill… I’d say before next weekend is the time to acquire it yourself, before I bring it to a large, in-person, Mt. Baker-specific audience.

Framing:

For any and all your artwork framing needs, if you are in Seattle, I cannot recommend enough going to Annie’s Art and Frame in Ballard.  They do excellent, excellent work, for a great price, and it is the ONLY framing service I have used in Seattle since childhood.  I love getting updates from the staff when one of my paintings is brought in to be framed there.
