Fellow Travelers,

Today (Wednesday) evening, I’m typing on my laptop from a hotel room in Reedsport, OR.  It was a gorgeous afternoon of driving in the rain down the Oregon Coast, after first going West from Seattle. Pictures do no justice to the sound of the surf, the low-horizon infinite blue gray ocean, the refreshing rain.

With only so many opportunities in life to make such a drive and a trip as I am currently making, your time and mine would be wasted in trying to document the moment in this format.  I am on my way to LA to catch up with a friend, then onto Flagstaff AZ to participate in ArtX Flagstaff, followed by a trip to Colorado to rendezvous with another friend - spending the entire month of May (at least) in the high desert.

And so - in the next few days I’ll be suspending my “once a day M-F” email pattern, to better take in the travel from Seattle to LA, and from LA onto Flagstaff by Sunday, should all go to plan.
