Dear Art Lover,

Visiting San Diego was a pleasure.  I am very grateful to the San Diego Watercolor Society for giving me and my family and friends the excuse to taste some warmer weather, and for their hospitality in welcoming us.  Thank you so much to the SDWS for your hard work to promote art and learning in art.  The marine wildlife in La Jolla was a treat to draw.

Two things:

1. I’ve added 19 new (and some recent) works to my 2023 Holiday Sale, which extends at least through the end of the year.  I’ve made it easy to find these works - they are first in the order.  Why now?  Well, I am always painting, we had a beautiful November, and works are returning from the 40+ exhibitions I was invited to since July.

2. Here are some sketches of marine life from San Diego: Pelicans, Sea Lions, Gulls, Cormorants.
