Finer Frames, who host Plein Air Eagle, suggested at least one if not two painting locations for every day of the festival. As someone coming from out of town, who had never been to Eagle or Boise, this was a very welcome bit of effort on their part. This gazebo structure, The Rookery, had the most interesting shadows and light spaces within it, the stone benches gleaming, the trees and greenery brilliant and backlit outside, the violet and orange reflections on the wood beams above.
