I had a lot of fun making this painting. The waves and wind were impressive, wonderful, massive. It was a chilly day given so much wind, even though the sun was shining bright that day, shining with all its might. I was drawn to the tidepool on top of the rock outcropping, as well as the several seals lounging at its base in the lower right of the picture. I did my best on the waves to observe their color, pattern, and spray.
