There is a certain time of day where the sky turns almost aqua green, between dark blue and light yellow, the clouds making up very dark violet and indigo colors, the landscape already black, the light from windows the only entry to seeing what is going on in the hillside.  This view I’ve painted and drawn many times, the view from my old apartment in the Mt Baker neighborhood, looking west to North Beacon Hill in Seattle.
