Event Awards: 2nd Place Overall; Artist’s Choice Award

Getting to Utah for this festival was difficult. I was showing up late and had missed several day of painting time due to the openings for the previous events in California, Gualala and Mendocino. I had one full day to paint in Escalante, and made this that afternoon, of the view approaching Boulder, UT from the West on Route 12. My giant shade tent was effective in the desert as it had been on the shore.
