This painting was made at a location suggested by the New Braunfels Art League. I was having trouble finding the right view, and even more trouble starting this painting, but eventually found some challenging fun within trying to paint the light on the chairs and tables in the open-walled structure, used it seems for weddings and the like. There were two longhorns in the field but they stayed too far from me to observe well enough to paint. New Braunfels was the last event of Art Tour 2024, and I was looking for challenges up to the end.
