Similar to the sketches of the turkey vultures in Flagstaff, I was captivated by a single hawk circling the field one evening where I was staying. This is the profile of the bird as it circled and eventually moved on. I try to keep my sketchbook on me at all times - you never know what magic the universe will offer you next.
