This watercolor painting was made en Plein Air, outside, from life, on the quad of the University of Washington Campus, looking Northeast towards Raitt Hall. Begun when the blossoms were still at peak bloom, this painting was completed in four sessions, Monday 3.25.24 from 12:15-1:15pm, Wednesday Thursday and Friday 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, from 1-2pm, 10:45-11:45am, and 11am-2pm, respectively. During that time most of the blossoms fell, the new growth began to come in, and the atmosphere ranged from overcast to full sun to rain.
