Location: Seattle, WA

This quick sketch of geese on the water and in the sky a heron in flight was made one evening before dinner on Portage Bay.  Geese are everywhere in Seattle, non-migratory as they can be, but even such a common bird is uncommonly beautiful when studied closely.  I enjoy their gestures and their refelctions on still days.
