Location: La Jolla, CA

I had finished the piece I came to San Diego to make, "Plein Air, Pelicans at La Jolla, 10-noon, 8.15-17.24”, the previous day, and was only in the area for a bike ride and some food. Alas, the pelicans got the better of me, again, demanding I draw them. This is the first of four pages of pelican sketches made in the same session.
