Location: Denver, CO
This sketch of a couple wandering through Denver’s Washington Park was made on the heels of ArtX Flagstaff. Once the festival wrapped, I drove to Denver to visit my artist friend Maxwell Forrest Roath for a few days, before leaving my car there and flying to Seattle for a few weeks before the next art event began in July (Plein Air Easton, in Easton, MD). I’m not sure the exact day, but I know the context was I was walking around in Wash Park to unwind after my first ever Art Festival (and Event #1 of Art Tour 2024). This couple caught my eye, and I had seconds to draw them, and a few more minutes for the context around them.
