Original Watercolor Figure Painting, “Gloria, Reclined”, watercolor, 18 x 24”, 2019

I’ve not made many watercolor paintings from the live nude model, but it is a practice I always enjoy, and it is always very challenging.  Gloria is one of the best models I’ve ever worked with.  This painting is monochromatic, using only one pigment, Payne’s gray, and likely made very wick, in ten or twenty minutes.
